Choosing the right GYM environment.
How is your work out environment? Do you work out at home? In a high tech fitness center? A hardcore underground gym? or at the park?
Are you a bodybuilder? Powerlifter? Athlete? Fighter? Runner? or a weekend warrior?
The reason I ask is I believe that to get the best results and to reach your fitness goals you need to surround yourself with like-minded people and put yourself in the right environment.
Now the first thing you have to do before deciding where you will work out is set your goals.
Or maybe you already have your goals set but are not training in the right environment and therefore not seeing the results you want. By the right environment I mean training in a gym or around people who have the same goals as you do. When you do this it puts your in the right mindset.
It’s just like any thing in life, if you want to be successful at something find that person, or those people who are already successful at it and follow what they do.
One of the best examples of this would be Arnold. He wanted to be the best bodybuilder in the world so he came to America and to Gold’s Gym in Venice, CA which was the bodybuilding mecca of the world.
Check out this video and see what I mean.
Arnold put himself in that environment because he knew to be the best in the world he had to workout with the best, hang out with the best, and eat with the best.
So whether your goal is to be a great bodybuilder, a power lifter, an athlete, a fighter, a runner, or a weekend warrior, find that gym or group of people that are successful at what you want to be and join in and follow what they do.
I prefer the hard core underground type gyms with little to no machines or cardio equipment, rusted weight plates and dumbbells, full of blood, sweat and tears.
Would love to hear your comments on this below and what type of gym environment you prefer.
